Sausage Rolls
MAKES: 16 little rolls
INGREDIENTS
1 pack of @caremepastry puff pastry
500g lean beef mince
1 small zucchini (grated and water squeezed out)
1 egg ( plus another for egg wash)
3 beef liver capsules, emptied
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt
METHOD
Mix together beef mince, zucchini, 1 egg, spices and salt until combined well.
Roll out the pastry and cut into two sheets, you may need to use some flour as this pastry can get quite sticky.
Place half of the beef mince mixture on the short end of the pastry sheet, leaving 1 cm from the edge, then roll up and slice into 8 pieces.
Repeat with the second sheet.
Whisk an egg and brush lightly onto the pastry.
Bake for 35 minutes at 180, or until golden brown.
