A little bit about me

Hi there, I’m Thea, I’m a wife, mother & nutritionist currently living on the Sunshine Coast with my two beautiful sons Darcy and Bailey and husband Sam. I believe I was put on this earth to inspire and educate people on how to make real food choices that positively impact their overall health and empower them to become the best version of themselves.

As a mother, I understand the importance of fuelling your body with what it needs on a daily basis to not only survive but thrive and achieve your goals. Throughout my early 20’s I had my own host of health issues, from under eating and having missing menstrual cycles to obsessively counting calories and unnecessarily restricting food groups. Since then, I’ve been on my own journey of learning more about nutrition and how to properly fuel my own body for success and help others to do the same.

My favourite foods are avocado, dark chocolate and roasted sweet potato with sea salt, but you’ll still see me enjoying a scoop or two of gelato when out with friends or a lovingly homemade scone with lashings of jam and cream. Life is about BALANCE. I’m passionate about educating women life you on how to achieve this balance while also reaching your lifestyle goals, whether weight focused, performance based or throughout the post partum period of your life. My approach is food focused and firmly based on educating through a real food template.

A little more about me:

  • I completed by Nutrition studies through Deakin University.

  • I hold a certificate 3 in fitness.

  • I’ve successfully developed a range of gluten & refined sugar free products alongside a manufacture.

  • My passion is working with women to optimise their nutrition to support the fitness and training goals. I’m one of the Nutritionists at The Natural Nutritionist and I’m the resident Nutritionist on the Her Trails team.
